Natural, Classic Beauty and Fashion

At Kumquat Consortium we are passionate about natural, effective, results driven beauty products.  When it comes to fashion we shy away from 'trendy' and work with classic styles that are timeless and sophisticated.  We only work with brands we truly believe in and use or wear ourselves.

Lumavera Skincare

LUMAVERA is a complete line of luxury skincare formulated with antioxidant-rich super-foods and Plant Stem Cell technology, which includes peptides and other ingredients that are scientifically proven to improve skin’s texture and appearance. While other cosmetics on the market use water as their first ingredient, LUMAVERA is formulated with aloe vera to deliver superior hydration. LUMAVERA addresses the needs of the ingredient savvy individual who prefers high-quality ingredients that benefit the skin while being free of toxins.

LUMAVERA combines Founder and President David Vargas’ family recipes of farm fresh ingredients with the benefit of PhytoCellTec™ Argan, the first cosmetic active that can help protect and repair dermal stem cells for revitalized skin.

Maxwell's soaps

When we heard about Maxwell's soaps over hear at Kumquat Consortium we knew we had to get involved.  This company not only makes lush, gorgeous soaps with premium goats milk glycerin  base and natural coconut exfoliators blended in, they have a much deeper mission then keeping you clean.  For every bar of soap sold a bar is given to someone in need.

Maxwell is a Navy Corpsman (what you would call a combat medic).  Personal hygiene for their fellow Sailors and Marines as well as public health for the local people are some of the less glamorous yet vital duties every Navy Corpsman is responsible for.  While living in a high-rise loft in Downtown L.A. near Skid Row, the epicenter of the Los Angeles homeless population, he became alarmed at the lack of public health and hygiene amongst the city's homeless, especially those forgotten, PTSD-affected veterans living on the streets.

Military folks don't leave their brothers behind, and doing nothing for these people living on the streets seemed like a betrayal of the values and principles learned in combat. The war it seemed, was right here at home all along.  And so, Maxwell's Soaps was born.
